Located in Apulia a region in Southern Italy, Lecce referred to as the Florence of the South. A beautiful Baroque city filled with history, beautiful architecture, night life and outstanding food.
What To See
Lecce is a georgous city located in Apulia, Italy. The city has breathtaking architecture with history that covers thousands of years, food that is absoltuly delicous and is perfectly located to explore the south of Apulia. This part of Italy is further from the big tourist spots such as Florence, Rome, Venice, and the Amalfi Coast, you will find fewer tourist, thought they are still around. Lecce is a must see city and should be apart of anyone’s trip to the South of Italy.

The Restaurant Recommendations
A few tips: When traveling to any major city, try to go to restaurants that are not on main roads or in front of tourist sites; my goal is to always get away from as many tourists as possible. I tend to notice that you find restaurants with delicious food, local eaters, and more reasonable prices. There are always exceptions, but melting into the local spots is a nearly always safe bet.
*I have not personally visited all these restaurants, but all were highly recommended and are on my list of must-go.
